Testosterone, Neuroendocrine Cells & Urethral Contractility Summer Project
Conducted individual project in the Summer Undergraduate Program for Undergraduate urology Research at UW-Madison on impacts of testosterone on neuroendocrine cells in the urethra and their ability to release serotonin and induce contraction in female mice. This project is directly translational to transgender and intersex medicine.

This award-winning project furthered my understanding of several physiological techniques, including microscopic dissection and wire myography. Throughout the summer I also performed 11 solo mouse surgeries.
